How it will work

A published prediction equation produces a range rather than a single number, and the equation's own error margin is drawn beside it so the width of the estimate is visible before anything is planned around it.

What this tool will do

Present resting energy as a band with a stated error margin
Explain why two people with the same inputs can differ

What this tool will not do

Display a metabolic age or any invented score
Present a single calorie figure as a fact about one body
Replace measured indirect calorimetry
